Rates


Rates are determined by the size of the yurt you’d like to rent and the time of year that you plan to visit us.  There are three sizes of yurts – we have two (2) 24 foot yurts, two (2) 20 foot yurts, and one (1) 30 foot yurt – and there are four rate seasons to consider.  We’ve broken the rates down based on the specific yurts we have to offer.

 

Nantahala

This 24 foot yurt has a suite-like feel, with the living space and sleeping space being open, much like you would find in a larger hotel room.  In it, there is one king-sized bed.  You will also find a private bathroom and an efficiency kitchen with a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee pot, and basic utensils like plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and silverware.  Also provided in the Nantahala is satellite television, wi-fi connectivity, large private deck, picnic table, private gas grill and access to a community fire ring.  The yurt also has central heating and air.

Summer Season Rates (April – September) are $124 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

Leaf Season Rates (October) are $174 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

Winter Season Rates (November – December) are $114 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

Spring Season Rates (January – March) are $94 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

 

Tsali

Our 24 foot Tsali yurt is primarily like our Nantahala, with the main difference being the furniture layout.  The Tsali has two queen-sized beds.  It also has a private bathroom, and efficiency kitchen with a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee pot, and basic utensils like plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and silverware.  Also provided in the Tsali is satellitte television, wi-fi connectivity, large private deck, picnic table, private gas grill and access to a community fire ring.  The yurt also has central heating and air.

Summer Season Rates (April – September) are $124 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

Leaf Season Rates (October) are $174 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

Fontana

This 30 foot yurt is significantly larger than our other yurts.  In it, you will find a private bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a queen-sized pull out sofa in the separate living space, as well as two twin pull out beds located in the living space.  You will also find a full kitchen equipped with stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee pot.  The kitchen is equipped with basic utensils like plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and silverware, as well as pots, pans and bake ware.  Also provided in the Fontana are two satellite televisions, wi-fi connectivity, full-size washer and dryer, large private deck, picnic table, private gas grill and access to a community fire ring. The yurt also has central heating and air.

Cherokee and Tuckaseegee

Both of these 20 foot yurts are sized perfectly for couples or friends traveling in pairs.  They each sleep three in one queen bed and a pull-out twin.  Each has a private bathroom, central heat and air, a private deck with private fire pit, small refrigerator,  microwave and coffee pot.  Also provided in the Cherokee and Tuckaseegee are a satellite television, wi-fi connectivity, and a private gas grill.

Summer Season Rates (April – September) are $104 per night, with a flat $50 fee for cleaning.

Leaf Season Rates (October) are $154 per night, with a flat $50 fee for cleaning.

Winter Season Rates (November – December) are $94 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

Spring Season Rates (January – March) are $84 per night, with a flat $55 fee for cleaning.

 

Also available on the Ridge is our 800 square foot luxury modern mountain cabin, the Stecoah House.  It offers a completely different way to experience Sky Ridge Yurts.  We’d venture to guess that you’ve never stayed in anything quite like it before in a cabin – which is exactly why we built it!  Just as our yurts are the most upscale “tents” you’ve ever seen, every attention to modern detail and style has been made in our Stecoah House cabin to ensure that our guests experience a mountain cabin like no other.

 

Stecoah House

This two-story luxury cabin offers room for six with one upstairs king bedroom, a queen pull-out sofa in the downstairs living room, and another queen pull-out sofa in the upstairs loft.  It has a full kitchen with modern appliances, a full bath downstairs and a half bath upstairs.  The entire living space is surrounded by ceiling to floor windows on three sides, and an open loft floor plan.  The living room is equipped with a gas fireplace and flat screen television.  Outside is a spacious deck and patio area with private fire pit.  Also provided in the Stecoah House is wi-fi connectivity, a washer and dryer, picnic table, and an outdoor shower.  The Stecoah House is situated for the utmost in privacy and is perfect for honeymooners, weddings, special occasions and, of course, family gatherings.

Summer Season Rates (April – September) are $224 per night, with a flat $75 fee for cleaning.

Leaf Season Rates (October) are $274 per night, with a flat $75 fee for cleaning.

Winter Season Rates (November – December) are $194 per night, with a flat $75 fee for cleaning.

Spring Season Rates (January – March) are $174 per night, with a flat $75 fee for cleaning.
